Shaohannah's Hope - The Results......

October 5th was a great day as we found out we will be receiving a $3,000 grant from Shaohannah's Hope. We were thrilled to receive this news as it has a huge impact on our adoption budget. After informing our family about the wonderful news, we celebrated with a date to TGI Fridays. It was a long wait, but definately worth it in the end. We know there are many families who need the financial help with their adoption expenses, and we feel so blessed to have received this special gift!

Shaohannah's Hope

We applied for a grant from Shaohannah's Hope. If you are not familiar with this organization, it was started by Steven Curtis Chapman after the adoption of his daughter, Shaohannah, from the People's Republic of China. Since then, he and his wife have adopted two more daughters from China. They are now helping other families by offering grants towards adoption expenses. Rusty and I sent our paperwork the end of May. It takes around 90 - 120 days to hear a response, so we will keep you posted.
